The Congress Telangana representatives have reportedly decided that, there was need for them to resign, in order to mount pressure on centre to decide on the Telangana issue.

According to the information, 22 Congress MLAs, six ministers, nine MLCs and eight MPs have signed their resignations and kept them with minister, Mr K. Jana Reddy. On giving 60 per cent reservations to the BCs, Mr Jana Reddy said there was no need for any one to give advice to the Congress party.
