YS Jagan asks not to politicise 'Odarpu Yatra'

Kadapa MP and son of late Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been repeatedly saying that the Odarpu Yatra is being taken on a personal note. The same was expressed in an open letter, written the past. After Mahabubabad incident and even before touring Srikakulam district, Jagan met the AICC president Sonia Gandhi. The letter was released only after he met Mr's Gandhi. In the letter he wrote 'As promised at Pavuralagutta, I will meet the families of those who had lost their loved ones due the unprecedented death of My father, this yatra is on a personal front and has nothing to do with politics'. He also wrote that Mr's Gandhi had neither said and Yes nor a No for the yatra. Adding further Jagan wrote that Sonia had suggested him to provide certain amount of financial aid to the family of the bereeved at one time. However he opined that he would meet the families in person. Jagan asked the families of the bereaved to forgive him, as he was late in visiting them.
