The sudden death of the niece of Union minister for petroleum S Jaipal Reddy... took a controversial turn with the father of the deceased alleging that his son-in-law and his parents, might be behind his daughters death. The police, who initially registered a case of suspicious death, have now altered the case to murder and are investigating from that angle.

Lets have a glance on the episode!... Union minister S Jaipal Reddys 26-year-old niece, Dr.Kiran Reddy, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Jubilee Hills on Saturday. Based on a complaint lodged by the girl's parents, the police have booked a murder case against her husband, Dr Chaitanya Reddy.

Kiran Reddy, was married to Chaitanya Reddy five years ago and they have a four-year-old daughter. Kiranwho is a daughter of Jaipal Reddys younger sister Bharati, was working as a dermatologist, while Chaitanya Reddy does business. According to police, the couple went to attend the bachelors party organized by Kirans younger brother Sunil on Friday and returned home late.

On Saturday morning, Chaitanya found Kiran lying unconscious on the bed. He immediately took her to Apollo hospital where she was declared and brought dead. On Sunday, Kirans family approached police alleging that they suspect their daughter might have been killed by their son-in-law and his family. Based on the complaint, police altered the case to murder.

Police said Kiran Reddys parents did not allege that their daughter was harassed by in-laws for dowry or other issues. Following Raghottam Reddys complaint, the case was altered to Section 302 & investigation launched. Sources said, the victim had a major head injury. An autopsy report of Kiran Reddys death was awaited and police said they would soon question Chaitanya Reddy and his family members in connection with the case.
