The fate of students aspiring for a seat in International Institutions of Information Technology in the State, will not hang in the balance. The vice chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technology, Raja Kumar today, announced that the process of IIT admissions would begin, by next week.
In a statement, the VC said that, a total 3,000 admissions are being allowed by the management. Raja Kumar said that the supreme court verdict in favor of the mandal-wise reservation policy, to safeguard the future of many meritorious students from the rural areas, is the main reason to delay admissions.
