Last procession and salute to TRS founder Prof. Jayashankar
The cremation of TRS founder member Prof Jayashankar, who passed away Tuesday morning at his house in Hanumakonda, took place this afternoon. The funeral procession started at 10.30 am from his house and reached Padmakshi-gutta burial ground in Warangal District.
On the way, tributes were paid to the departed Telangana ideologue at the Martyrs Memorial by all T-supporters. The body of Prof. Jayashankar has been kept in state at the Eka-sila Park to enable his followers and pro-Telangana activists pay their last respects.
