On the other side, Jagan Mohan Reddy continued with his Odarpu Yatra in Ananthapur District for 3rd consecutive day. Jagan went on a road show through the villages, where he consoled the family of those who lost their loved ones.

Speaking at the meeting, he said that the Leader of Opposition, rather than highlighting the failures of the Congress government, was merely bothered about safeguarding it from collapsing under severe pressure from the public. He said the people were waiting for an opportunity to end their woes and said that it would come very soon and the YSR Congress Party would come to power.
