Mayawati extends total support to Telangana

The Bahujan Samaj Party supremo and UP Chief Minister Mayawati, today, proclaimed her party's total support to formation of separate Telangana State. Participating in the training programme for the party workers in the While House Hall in L B Nagar, Ms Mayawati declared that her party MPs would vote in favour of formation of Telangana State whenever a Bill was introduced in Parliament.
Stating that the demand for Telangana State was pending since a long time, she exuded confidence that the BSP would get strengthened in the region if separate State was formed. She said that her party would contest in the next Assembly elections. The UP Chief Minister wanted a Dalit to be made chief minister after formation of Telangana State.
