* Condemns a steep hike on fuel prices

Strongly condemning a steep hike on fuel prices, The YSR Congress party activists launched a vanta-vaarpu program at Punjagutta circle. Flaying the state government for their indefinite attitude to control fares and VAT, the activists burnt an effigy of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. The demonstration which was staged for almost an hour, has caused a severe interruption to vehicular traffic. Later, the police personnel arrested the party workers and rushed to near by police station.
