CWC member G. Venkataswamy has denied the allegations that he had tried to encroach the land belonging to the family of actor Srikanth in Shankarpalli mandal in neighbouring Ranga Reddy district. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Mr. Venkataswamy produced documents in support of his claim that the land in dispute belongs to him. He said the he had purchased the land in 1992 from one Yadaiah and registered the same in the name of his son G. Vinod. Mr. Venkataswamy spoke to the media in wake of a case registered against him on a complaint by Srikanth that he had put up Congress party flags on the land belonging to his brother Anil Kumar. The Congress leader dared the actor to produce before the media the documents to prove his claim.
