Andhra govt seeks report from Sai Baba Trust State Government today

Andhra govt seeks report from Sai Baba Trust State Government today, sought a detailed report from Satya Sai Central Trust about its financial activities, in the wake of seizure of cash from the abode of the late spiritual leader. Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, who had held an emergency meeting with ministers, has decided to seek a report from the Trust following allegations of diversion of funds from Prasanthi Nilayam.
Political parties in the State, including ruing Congress, have been demanding that the government immediately interfere in the Trust's functioning. Accordingly, the government sent a letter to the Trust seeking a detailed report about its activities.
