Rs 35 lakh belongs to consultancy

Trust Members The Sathya Sai Central Trust today claimed that, there had been no financial irregularities in its operations which runs in a transparent manner. Addressing a joint press conference, Trust Members V.Srinivasan and Naganand said, Rs 35 lakh seized by the police was given by an ardent devotee of Sai Baba and handed over to Bangalore based Shankar-Narayana consultancy for taking up Samadhi works.
The trust was not directly involved in the work and gave permission to the devotee to construct the Samadhi. The seized cash was given by a devotee, whose name was kept secret, to Trust Member R J Ratnakar, who was also a nephew of Late Sathya Sai Baba.
