Union Minister of State for HRD Daggubati Purandeswari denied that she had commented anything on Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's Odarpu Yatra' on her own and asserted that she had repeated the words of Ahmed Patel, political secretary of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. At the inaugural of food courts at a mall here on Sunday, she asked those targeting her on the issue to get it clarified from Mr. Patel. She went on to add that several MLAs from Prakasam district, Union Minister of State Panabaka Lakshmi others were also present when Mr. Patel spoke on Odarpu Yatra.Taking exception to Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari targeting her, she said that she and her husband were close to the Congress and its activities. If Mr. Sabbam Hari wished to criticise me, it is left to his wisdom, she added.
