The officials of AP State Council of Higher Education finally came out with tentative schedule to begin engineering web-based counselling for admissions into BE, B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses. The counselling will begin from August 29 and the first phase of admissions will be completed by September 20. The Eamcet notifications will be issued on August 22. Due to the lack of clarity on the approvals given by the AICTE for the existing and new colleges, the process got delayed. The officials are in the process of obtaining data from AICTE over the actual number of seats available in the colleges. They expect to get the data by August 20. Initially, the process of certificate verification will be taken up in all the helpline centres. Later, students can opt for colleges and courses using the internet. On September 19, seat allotment list will be announced.
