Cabinet Committee discusses Telangana
Jolted by the mass resignations of the congress and TDP MLAs of the Telangana region demanding separate state, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh convened an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs this evening.
The details of the meeting are not made public but sources said that the members of the Committee also discussed the long pending issue of the removal of 14 F from the Presidential reference on the zones. After a thorough discussion, the committee decided to remove the 14 F but asked the AP state assembly to pass a resolution again.
