Ex-DCCB Chairman passes away
Senior TDP leader and former DCCB Chairman Gandra Venkateshwara Rao passed away while undergoing treatment in a corporate hospital in Hyderabad on Saturday night. He went into coma on Thursday and was undergoing treatment in ICU of the hospital and died on Saturday night. Venkateshwara Rao was associated with the TDP since its inception. He occupied the post of district party president on two occasions and worked as District Cooperative Central Bank Chairman. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, TDP leaders T. Devender Goud, E. Peddi Reddy, legislators L. Ramana, G. Kamalakar, Ch. Vijayaramana Rao, Suddala Devaiah and others visited the residence of Gandra Venkateshwara Rao and paid homage to the departed leader at his residence in Karimnagar town. Mr. Naidu placed the party flag on his body and consoled the bereaved family members.
