We quit for people, says Jana reddy
Panchayat Raj Minister Jana reddy said today that he along with some other ministers, congress MLAs and MLCs of the Telangana region have quit their posts to bring the sentiments of the Telangana people to the notice of the party high command and not to create a crisis for the party or the government.
Jana reddy was among the group of 37 congress MLAs and MLCs of the T region who have quit their posts demanding the formation of the Telangana state. Talking to the newspersons in the assembly premises, He said, that this was not defiance of the party. Jana reddy said that the Centre must abide by the December 9, 2009 statement on the formation of the Telangana state and hoped that the Telangana area would soon get freedom.
