Azad Congress lawmakers, who tendered their resignations to press for the demand of a separate state of Telangana, met Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the national capital today. According to reports, the Congress MPs and MLAs from the Telangana region during the meeting explained to Azad, who is the Congress Party in charge for Andhra, the reason for their resignations, and also agreed to take part in the discussions on the separate statehood issue.

Talking to the newspersons, Jana Reddy said, they will continue to be part of the discussions, talking further he said, that all the representatives explained to Azad the conditions under which the papers were presented.
