T activists lay siege to Jaipal's house
Telangana activists today laid a siege to the house of Union Minister for Petroleum, S Jaipal Reddy, and demanded his resignation. A large number of activists raided the house of the Union minister and raised slogans demanding his resignation.
Police, who swung into action, arrested the agitators. The agitators said the Union government was already in a mood to announce bifurcation of the State and Mr Jaipal Reddy's resignation would help hasten things.
