Breaking his silence on Telangana, YSR congress party president YS Jaganmohan reddy said today he respects the Telangana sentiment. Addressing the delegates at the valedictory function on the second day of his partys plenary at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district, Jagan said his party was not in a position either to grant Telangana state or stop others from giving it.

Jagans silence over the issue has become a subject of discussion all these days as all pro-Telangana groups, individuals and parties said he would not be allowed to tour Telangana till he declares his party's stand on the division of the state. Talking further the young leader said, that the central government should take a decision on telangana issue as soon as possible.
