AICC Spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said, that the Union Government would soon make an announcement on the Telangana issue. Talking to the media, he maintained that there was no uncertainity in the state. Stating that the government was making efforts to resolve the Telangana problem, he appealed to the political leaders not to make any provocative statements.

He said, the government was thinking of three ways to solve the problem. The first was to complete the Telangana process within a year. The second was to create Telangana state excluding Hyderabad city. The third solution was to set up second states reorganisation commission. The government would make an announcement after the cabinet reshuffle, he added.
