T Cong leaders form Steering Committee
MLC Legislators who have resigned from their elected posts, formed a 20-member Steering Committee to fight for the separate Telangana state. Talking to media persons at the Assembly Media Point, MLC Y Yadav Reddy stated that the Steering Committee has 20 members, including MPs, Ministers and Legislators.
Mr Yadav Reddy revealed that the Steering Committee will take decisions on how to keep the separate statehood agitation intensified and future protests would also be decided by it. He also revealed that the Steering Committee will be chaired by Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy and Rajya Sabha Member K Kesava Rao will be the co-chairman.
