Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram, accompanied by several leaders from the BJP, TRS, CPI-ML and Employees JAC leaders Swamy Goud, Srinivas Goud and Devi Prasad today called on the Chief Minister, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, in the camp office and served him a notice for general strike. Speaking to mediapersons later, Prof. Kodandaram said that they have told the Chief Minister that there will be general strike all over the Telangana region if separate State was not announced by then.

Chief Minister reportedly told them that the issue cannot be solved overnight as it was very sensitive and complex. He also reportedly expressed his inability saying that Delhi has to decide it and there was nothing in his hands.
