Heavy rains continued to lash the state. Several regions in coastal andhra and rayalaseema received huge amounts of rainfall. With heavy inflow of rain water from the tungabadra dam the Srisailam reservoir has crossed danger levels. Handri river in kurnool district is overflowing with heavy rain water. The Met department has warned of heavy rainfall for the next 24 hours in the region.
