A member of the Justice Srikrishna Committee Abu Saleh Shariff and senior adviser B.L. Joshi visited several tribal areas in Palvancha division on Tuesday. Mr. Shariff interacted with the tribals at Kammarigudem in Palvancha mandal and elicited their views. A section of the tribal youth urged the visiting delegation to recommend creation of Tribal state to usher in accelerated development of the tribal areas. They highlighted the problems being faced by the tribal areas, particularly lack of employment. Some of the tribal youth lamented that they were deprived of employment opportunities despite location of several industries in the division. Some graduates of Nagaram village met the committee members and sought creation of separate Telangana state.
