A 100-year old two-storey building in Chittinagar area in One Town collapsed on Thursday night following incessant rain. According to the police, the old building located beside Marupilla Chitti Congress office in Chittinagar came down like a pack of cards, destroying six motorbikes and a milk stall. The Congress party office was also damaged partially in the incident. Two persons received minor injuries. The local people said that the owner of the building moved to Chennai long back and came last time to see his property about 15 years back.
