Rosaiah concerned over spurt in white collar crime

Chief Minister K. Rosaiah said the spurt in white collar crimes has further saddled the police force in the State which is already slogging' almost round-the-clock to maintain law and order. In his address after formally launching the Tirupati Urban police District on Saturday, he said the TTD's help would be taken to provide the necessary infrastructure for the new urban police district both at Tirupati and Tirumala which would cover ten mandals around including Srikalahasti. The Chief Minister also reminisced as how his dreams of becoming a Sub-Inspector was dashed-off with his father declining to send him though he had appeared for the concerned departmental test in 1952.
