Yesterday's trough of low pressure that extended from Orrisa to Tamil Nadu Coast through South Coastal Andhra Pradesh persisted. According to a Special Bulletin issued by the Cyclone Warning Centre, under its influence, rainfall or thundershowers are likely at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated heavy to very rain would occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Strong surface winds from westerly direction with speeds reaching 45 to 50 Kmph were likely along and off Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
