The Srikrishna Commission has received about 1.5 lakh submissions from the people in the state over the contentious issue of bifurcation of the state. Revealing this to media persons on Wednesday, Chairman of the Commission for Consultations over the Situation in the state Justice BN Srikrishna, assured that the Panel's report would be submitted before its year-end deadline. Justice Srikrishna further said that of the 1.5 lakh representations received by the Panel so far, over 3,500 submissions contained elaborate details, facts and figures. He also reiterated the Panels commitment to impartiality and said that the representations submitted by people, different political parties and organizations would be given utmost importance.
