On the last friday of Ramzan, muslims all through the city offered special prayers. Locals at old city offered special prayers at mecca masjid. Police ensured tight security at the holy mosque to see no untoward incident takes place. Sacred prayers were offered by men and women from the religion on the eve of 'Jumatul Vidha' which is considered to be a holy friday for the muslims during Ramzan. Muslim Spiritual leaders belive that who ever throngs to their nearest mosque first, would be blessed utmost.
