Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu and his supporters were forcibly shifted from Dharmabad to Aurangabad on Tuesday, a day after he rejected a magistrate's suggestion to seek bail and return to Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu and TDP members were forcibly put into buses and driven away amid tight security as police lathi charged a crowd protesting their presence in Dharmabad. Maharashtra Police lathi charged on TDP MLAs, MPs and MLCs. Security personnel of Chandra babu were beaten up and chased away. Mobile phones of the leaders were snatched and damaged. TDP MP Nama Nageswar Rao was beaten up severely by the police. Female MLAs were mishandled and abused severely..
