Unveiling an action plan to strengthen the Telangana Rashtra Samiti in Khammam district, party president K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that one of the edition centres of the upcoming 'Telangana newspaper' will be set up in Khammam to vigorously propagate the separate Telangana movement to its logical end. KCR addressed a public meeting 'Kadana Bheri' at the Pavilion Grounds in the town on Monday evening. The TRS district unit organised the meeting in a strategic manner to invigorate the party in the district ahead of the next municipal and local body elections. Several persons, including industrialist Dhuggineni Bhaskara Rao, joined the party in the presence of KCR. Recalling the events that led to his arrest and judicial custody in Khammam during his fast-unto-death in November last year, he alleged that the persons at the helm of affairs continued to suppress the democratic wish of the people of Telangana for a separate state.
