The Group I preliminary examination conducted by APPSC has fuelled further differences between the Congress leaders from Telangana and other regions. While the Telangana MPs have decided to intensify their efforts to ensure cancellation of the examination, conducted under the 'shadow of the gun', their Andhra and Rayalaseema counterparts objected to the way the party MPs were acting in 'collusion' with the TRS. The Telangana Congress MPs who met in the city late on Monday evening to discuss the future course of action resolved to mount pressure on the government to cancel the examination which had no sanctity as the paper was leaked. The MPs were also sharply divided on the attendance.
