Rosaiah returns to Secretariat after 4 days of illness

Chief Minister K Rosaiah who was unwell for four consecutive days reached the secretariat on wednesday. After reaching secretariat at 4 in the evening, Rosaiah conducted a review meeting on the continous rainfall. The state has been receving heavy rainfall for over the past three months and has destroyed many houses and farms. Rosaiah discussed on the constructive measures to be adopted with Minister Raghuveera Reddy and other officials.
Apart from 2 lakh 96 thousand acres of agricultural land being destroyed, 5,959 houses have been drowned and another 15,621 houses were destroyed in the heavy rains that lashed the state. In the meeting Rosaiah said all those who lost their houses in the rains will be compensated under the IAY scheme. All the farmers who lost more than 50% of their yeild will also be compensated Rosaiah said.
