On the other the holy month of Ramzan officially got underway with the crescent moon being spotted on friday evening. Muslims will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr after a busy month of Ramzan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid means "festivity", while Fitr means "conclusion of the fast", and so the holiday celebrates the conclusion of the thirty days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan.

Islamic prayer are generally offered in an open field or large hall called an Eed-gah. Muslims take special care from offering prayers and even the boisterous meal that they prepare on ID. Meanwhile security arrangements are on an alltime high with the twin festivals in the state and country.
