72 kgs of Sugar & Glucose used to carve Lord Ganesha's Idol
We have seen Lord Ganesha's Idols in many forms, shapes and sizes. Makers of the idol are ensuring eco-friendly ways of creating Lord Ganesh Idols with Mud, clay and other enviornment friendly materials. In one such move a Lord Ganesha's Idol was built with Sugar. The Idol spotted in the city is drwaing huge crowds to witness the idol. The 72 Kg ganesh idol is a creation of Pinnacle Institute of Hotel Management located at Kukatpally. The students used 60kgs of Sugar and 12kgs of glucose to create the Idol. The Idol stands 3 feet tall and took 14 hours of time for being built. However on the day of immersion, the Idol will not be immersed but will be used for making a sweet drink and used as Prasadam.
