The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has alleged bias in allotment of 3.2 acres of prime land to Congress MLA of Kurnool T.G. Venkatesh near Shamshabad airport here to compensate the latter for losing his land at Thondapally to the Outer Ring Road project. TRS MLA T. Harish Rao told a press conference on Sunday that the government allotted the land in favour of Mr. Venkatesh solely because he kept targeting TRS and raised the banner of integrated State. The Congress MLA could land in trouble after the formation of Telangana State. Pointing out that several people of Telangana lost land in ORR project, Mr. Rao asked why the government did not show similar favour to them and demanded a white paper on payment of compensation and allotment of alternative land.
