Lord sets out on 'Simha Vahanam'
On the third day of the on-going annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara on Monday, the processional deity of the Lord was taken out in a grand procession on 'Simha Vahanam' around the 'mada' streets encircling the holy shrine. Thousands of devotees witnessed the divine festival which lasted for over two hours in the morning. Earlier, the day began with special rituals inside the temple soon after the completion of the pre-drawn rituals which were performed in 'Ekantham'.
