Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy's 'odarpu yatra' progressed at a snail's pace on the 11th day on Monday as YSR admirers unheeding to his pleas, put pressure on him frequently to visit their villages. However, intermittent rain failed to stop Mr. Jagan from going ahead with the yatra. YSR admirers, including women and youth too, remained steadfast to see him, hear him and shake hands with him. The yatra continued through narrow lanes of villages in Darsi Assembly constituency on a tragic note as a woman died depressed over the non-arrival of Mr. Jagan to her native Mandlamur on Sunday. The MP changed his route to console the family members of the woman. Though the MP is touring even till the break of dawn since the commencement of the yatra on September 3, he could hardly cover the constituencies of Giddalur, Kanigiri and Darsi, leaving nine other Assembly constituencies to be covered.
