Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao has refuted the TDP charge that his party was behind the stone-pelting incident on TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu's convoy on Monday while he was proceeding to Mahbubnagar. Addressing a public meeting at the mandal headquarters town of Kollapur, 97 km from here on Tuesday, he said the TRS had no vested interests in pelting stones at Mr. Naidu's convoy. He said that students in high school and those pursuing their Intermediate course were angry at the TDP leader for his stand on Telangana and that they had staged protest demonstrations during his meetings in the district. They were also upset because he had not visited the families of those students who had given up their lives for the cause of a separate State.
