Telangana Advocates 42% quota in their appointment

The Telangana Advocates on Tuesday held a protest at the state High Court demanding 42 per cent quota in the appointment of law officers the Court. The lawyers from different courts, thronged at the court premises to stage an agitation along with the Joint Action Committee of Telangana Advocates who began a fast-unto-death in front of advocate-generals office on Monday. The agitators stated that, they would intensify their agitation if their demands were not fulfilled. They have also demanded retreat of the police forces deployed at the premises of the High Court. Meanwhile, BJP senior leader Vidaya Sagar Rao had expressed his solidarity for cause.
