Senior Congress MLA Shankar Rao demanded the cancellation of the Group 1 exams held under the guidance of the APPSC Chairman Venkatrami Reddy. He alleged that due to the false tactics adopted by Venkatrami Reddy in favouring the Rayalaseema region, many students from telangana were losing out golden oppurtunites. On the hand the APPSC council whip Shivrami Reddy counter attacked Shankar Rao saying, that he made all the false comments only to appear on tv channels.
