Justice Nagarjuna Reddy resigns

Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy of the High Court on Thursday reportedly put in his papers expressing deep concern over the prevailing situation in the court arising out of the agitation by Telangana lawyers.It is reliably learnt that he informed his decision to quit the judge's post to his fellow judges on Thursday evening. In his resignation letter, he is said to have lamented that some elements had been holding sway over the situation for the last three days.
He expressed deep anguish over the state of affairs wherein innocent advocates and the institution could not be protected. For the last three days his court was targeted by some advocates who were angered that he continued to hear the cases in spite of their call to boycott courts.
