In a very sad incident an eight year old boy Rahul from Nuzvid was killed brutally by unknown persons on Friday. The local police on Thursday registered a case of suspected kidnap of a boy and began investigation into it, even as doubts were being expressed about the actual motive behind the offence.

Eight-year-old Kollipora Rahul was found missing from near his home at RR Pet in the town since Wednesday evening, when he left home to play with friends, but his father Suresh, a driver on contract with the APSRTC, lodged a complaint with the police only on Thursday morning and by friday he was murdered.
