Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Sunday said that 43 irrigation projects would be completed in the next two years and 38 lakh acres of agricultural land would receive irrigation water for use. The CM stated that 12,846 crores of rupees is being spent to meet the cause. Rosaiah held a tele-conference with the concerned irrigation officials on the rains and the pending irrigation projects and also discussed on the current scenario.

Adding further, the CM said that 48000 crores have been spent through Jalayganam on the irrigation projects and many more thousand crores are yet to be released under AIDP for the completion of 'Devaadula Projects' third phase of completion.
