Amid rousing reception by his followers, Congress MP from Kadapa Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy on recovery from eye infection, recommenced his 'Odarpu yatra' in Prakasam district on Sunday. Accompanied by Mines Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, among others, Mr. Jagan offered prayers at the famous Saibaba temple at Lawyerpet in the town, before going to Vellampalli in Addanki mandal to restart his yatra to lessen the grief of bereaved family members of those who had died in the wake of the helicopter crash that killed YSR. The yatra suffered hours of delay as frequent brakes were applied by enthusiastic activists who wanted him to visit their villages though not in the schedule. The MP also consoled the families of the three people who were electrocuted in the early hours of Saturday.
