Minister for Health Pithani Satyanarayana expressed dissatisfaction at the sanitation in the Dr.N.T.R.Government General Hospital on Sunday.The Minister visited the fever and other ward of the hospital. The Minister said that 197 people succumbed to Dengue in the State till September 15. The State Government was not leaving any stone unturned to check the spread of fevers.

The prolonged spell of rain the main reason behind the epidemic-like conditions. The State Government had appointed a five-member cabinet sub-committee to be on top of the situation. He said about 25 teams of doctors had been deployed into agency areas to treat tribals.
