YSR regime golden age: Jagan

Congress MP from Kadapa Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy continued his Odarpu yatra for the 16th day on Wednesday, rekindling memories of late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, in an effort to get closer to the people. The MP, during his hectic tour in Santhamagulur mandal, described the YSR regime as golden age' marked by all round development and welfare of various sections of people.
Unveiling the statue of his father in over 30 places, Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy came down heavily on the Opposition for trying to discredit his father and stoutly defended YSR, who is synonymous with credibility'. Jaganmohan Reddy recalled Jalayganam, Rajiv Aarogya Sri, free power supply for farmers, Pavala Vaddi scheme for women Self Help Groups and Indiramma housing and pension for weaker section of people taken up on a large-scale.
He held firmly a lamb, offered by a farmer at a meeting. He shook hands with youth and blessed women and children to acknowledge the love and affection shown by them at his meetings. Mines Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Darsi MLA B Sivaprasad Reddy and MLC Jupudi Prabakara Rao were among the leaders, who accompanied him.
