Medak Lok Sabha member and Vigilance and Monitoring Committee Chairman Vijayashanti came down heavily on the government alleging that the proposals sent by her were not being accepted by the government. Rs. 5.5 crore funds were released for the district but my proposals for road repairs were not accepted by Panachayat Raj Minister Botcha Satyanarayana, she said.

She also expressed serious concern over not addressing the issues raised in the previous meeting by the members alleging that many of the government schemes were not reaching the people. Some of the members supported her argument stating that many schemes were being siphoned away by Congress leaders locally.
