On the other side, the Karnataka Government released 3.5 crores of rupees for developing the Kurnool Mantralayam. Earlier the Karnatak government decided to release 10 crore rupees as the temple was destroyed during the last year floods. After it released the first set of amount worth of 3 crore rupees, the second set of installment has been released for 3.5 crores. After the release of this amount, temple authorites have fast tracked the repair and development works in the temple.
