The State Home Ministry on Saturday sought ways to curb sexual assault of women. Apart from starting a helpline for women, it also ordered the SP's to organise for a women official in every district. The Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy also requested various education institutes to arrange for a female councellor. Addresing news persons on saturday, she said that a meeting with the Chairmans and principals of professional education institutes would be held. Speaking further the Home Minister said the all the information regarding students should be passed on to their parents. Parents should interact with their children on their well being and concerns, she suggested.
